LaNae Cloud was raised in Willard, Missouri. She and her husband of 37 years lived in several places around the country while raising their six boys. In the middle of all that, LaNae went back to school, getting her degree in Elementary Education. She taught school for 14 years. After both she and her husband retired, they bought property in Missouri where they have built the Big Blue House. 

They love this Grandparent phase of life!
